The final day of action in the final Grand Slam of the calendar year for the Professional Pickleball Association wraps up today. The best players in the game today are set to compete in the last matches of the five-day tournament that wraps up the 2022 calendar year for Grand Slams, with the next Grand Slam on the calendar coming early next year. There is a lot on the line today with five matches on Championship Sunday for the men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and the mixed double matches all taking place today.

Last year this tournament featured several highlights and big moments for the doubles and singles matches at the PPA Las Vegas Championship:

In singles action, the men’s championship will be decided between Jw Johnson and Ben Johns after they advanced to the finals. Over in the women’s draw, the championship match will feature Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau.

Over in mixed doubles, those four pickleballers will play again with Waters and Johns taking on Parenteau and Johnson.

For the men’s doubles championship match, Johns teams with his brother Collin against Matt Wright and Riley Newman. Then in the women’s draw, Waters teams with her sister Leigh Waters against Parris Todd and Anna Bright.

It could be a massive day for the faces of the PPA in the Waters sisters and Johns Brothers today in Las Vegas.
