Modified fluorosilicone oil, due to its resistance to electrolyte corrosion and wide temperature stability, is widely used in the sealing of battery packs and the modification of separators. A small amount of it can form a protective film on the electrode surface, thereby alleviating the problem of battery capacity decline in low-temperature environments. With the expansion of the production capacity of energy storage and new energy vehicles, the annual demand for special fluorosilicone oil for lithium batteries has increased by over 35% year-on-year, becoming the core driving force of industry growth.
2. The domestic production in the medical field has accelerated, and medical-grade products have achieved commercial substitution.
Biocompatible fluorosilicone oil has completed authoritative biological safety certification and has been successively applied to the ultra-smooth coating of minimally invasive catheters, the demolding of medical devices, and the surface modification of implantable consumables. Previously, high-end medical fluorosilicone oil relied heavily on imports and the supply was unstable. The advantages of fluorosilicone oil in resisting ultraviolet rays, weathering and corrosion are prominent. It is used for sealing photovoltaic junction boxes and as an outdoor protective coating for wind power equipment, extending the service life of outdoor equipment for new energy. Currently, the penetration rate of fluorosilicone oil materials in the photovoltaic field is increasing year by year, bringing stable incremental orders to the industry.
