1. Functional complexity becomes the mainstream. Single silicone oil gradually exits the market.
Currently, the textile consumption has multiple demands for softness, breathability, anti-wrinkling, and easy maintenance of the fabric. Traditional single amino silicone oil is unable to meet these requirements. The industry has generally shifted to polyether modified, epoxy modified, and multi-block copolymer composite functional silicone oil to simultaneously enhance softness, hydrophilicity, wash resistance, and color resistance, upgrading from "single softener" to multi-functional finishing agent.

2. Resistance to washing and abrasion breakthrough. Solving the problem of fabric loss of performance after long washing.
Traditional silicone oil generally has problems such as decreased hand feel after washing, easy precipitation, and easy sticking to the roller. In recent years, through reactive group grafting and self-crosslinking structure optimization, the new generation of textile silicone oil can form chemical bonds with fibers, achieving a hand feel retention rate of over 85% after 50 washes, and improving the friction resistance by 1-2 grades, significantly extending the service life of home textiles, denim, and sportswear fabrics.

3. Low yellowing & high light transmittance. Suitable for high-end white and light-colored fabrics.
White and light-colored fabric is extremely sensitive to the yellowing, discoloration, and color change of additives. Through control of ammonia value, end modification, and nitrogen-free modification technologies, low yellowing/non-ammonia silicone oil has been rapidly popularized. In pure cotton, polyester filament, and high-end shirt fabrics, it can achieve almost no color difference after high-temperature shaping, ensuring the white degree and color purity of the fabric.

4. Application scenarios are segmented. Additives move towards precise customization.
With the intensification of fabric differentiation, silicone oil products are no longer "one-size-fits-all":
• Knitted fabrics focus on ultra-softness,loftiness and rebound;
• Weft fabrics focus on smoothness, draping, and anti-wrinkling;
• Underwear and home textiles focus on skin-friendliness, no irritation, and hydrophilicity;
• Workwear and outdoor fabrics focus on water resistance, anti-static, and stain resistance.
