In the past, agricultural silicone oil additives were mainly used for high-value crops such as fruit trees and vegetables. Now, they are rapidly being popularized in major grain-producing areas such as rice, wheat, and corn. In rice fields, adding silicone oil additives can enable the herbicide solution to efficiently spread on the water surface and the leaves of weeds, increasing the weed control effect by 40% and reducing the dosage by 30%. In wheat fields for controlling aphids and powdery mildew, it can significantly enhance the penetration and coverage of the pesticide solution in the dense canopy, reducing the number of spraying times. In corn fields for controlling weeds and killing pests, it effectively solves the problem of pesticide solution adhesion caused by wide leaves and thick waxy layers. As the cost-effectiveness advantage becomes deeply rooted in people's minds, silicon oil additives are transforming from "optional products" to "essential products". 

3. Deepening Technology Promotion: Scientific Training Overcomes Farmers' Cognitive Blind Spots
In the early days, due to insufficient understanding of the mechanism of silicone oil additives, farmers often experienced problems such as excessive addition, improper mixing, and application at high temperatures, which affected the efficacy and even caused phytotoxicity. In recent years, the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center and industry associations have jointly carried out large-scale field demonstrations and technical training, covering over one million farmers. Through the "theory + practice" model, the principles of "low dosage, efficient use, immediate mixing and application, and avoiding high temperatures" were popularized; the compatibility restrictions with copper preparations, sulfur preparations, and strong alkaline pesticides were clarified; and the addition ratios for different crops and different pesticides were standardized. 4. Improvement of Industry Standards: Regulating Market Order and Promoting Healthy Industry Development
To address the issues of uneven product quality and significant differences in quality in the market, China has accelerated the improvement of the standard system for agricultural silicone oil additives. Group standards such as "Technical Specifications for Special Additives for Aerial Spraying of Plant Protection Equipment (Organosilicon Type)" have been released, clearly defining core indicators such as surface tension, foaming property, temperature resistance, and degradability; the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has included organic silicon additives in the risk assessment and filing management of pesticide additives on the China Government Network; industry associations have implemented product quality certification and label marking regulations to eliminate the乱象 of "false content labeling and exaggerated efficacy". The dual drive of standards and supervision has accelerated the elimination of inferior products and promoted the continuous increase in the market share of high-quality silicone oil additives, laying a solid foundation for the healthy, orderly, and high-quality development of the industry.
