Product Description

IOTA 2667 is a dual-terminal hydroxyl polyether modified silicone oil. In terms of fiber lubrication, its compatibility with organic lubricants is significantly better than that of ordinary silicone oil, and it is easier to clean than ordinary silicone oil. When added as a fabric coating, it enhances wear resistance, anti-stick properties, and increases the fluidity of the resin coating.

Usage and Application Product Application
IOTA 2667 dual-hydroxyl polyether modified silicone oil is a block copolymer that can incorporate organic components to enhance surface properties.
One application: It can be used as a wetting agent in organic lubricant formulations for the comprehensive treatment of synthetic fibers. Additionally, the ethylene glycol groups can impart antistatic properties. Due to its ability to dissolve in water, it is relatively easy to clean.
Another application: As an additive for organic fabric coatings, it can impart anti-adhesion properties. Moreover, some coatings can also enhance wear resistance.
A third application: As the terminal ethylene glycol group contains reactive hydroxyl groups, it is reactive with organic polymers such as polyurethanes. Therefore, IOTA 2667 dual-hydroxyl polyether modified silicone oil can be used as part of the network structure through chemical reactions to enhance the hydrolytic stability of the resin.

Packaging and Storage
200 kilograms per 1000 kilograms plastic drums. Store in a cool, ventilated, and dry place. Shelf life is 12 months (unopened). After expiration, it can be re-tested and continue to be used if it complies with standards. Transport as non-hazardous chemicals.
